OVERVIEW OF RESEARCH PROGRAM

                Our research program is guided by the principle that to achieve a truly comprehensive understanding of spinal cord circuitry, we must integrate studies of connectivity, biophysics, and plasticity.  To meet this objective, we employ of a combination of powerful neuroanatomical tools, novel electrophysiological methods and computational modeling in a varity of experimental models of the intact and injured spinal cord.  For descriptions of the rationale and objectives of specific research themes, see:
